Last night I had a seriously stressed out moment and wrote a venting email to my brother. At one point this sentence came out and I thought it was quite telling. "I know I'm being dramatic but if I were being any other way I wouldn't be me." 03/05/11

Violet has been lining up her babies on the floor after nap time and giving each one a kiss while saying, "I missed you!" Need I say more? 03/05/11

Lately Jack has started many sentences with, "Mommy when I marry you...." and I can't even begin to tell you how adorable it is. Today he finished it with, "I will drive the car for you so you can just relax." What a stud. 03/05/11

Do you ever have such an off day that you wonder who pooped in your cheerios rather than just peeing in them? Today was such a day. 10/25/10

For a whole day after you wax your lip you wear a red mustache rather than a hairy one. It's kind of a bum deal unless you're cool not venturing anywhere public for 24 hours. 10/09/10

Being "spiritual" rather than religious is like being an entrepreneur of religion. Think about how many entrepreneurs you know. Now think of how many SUCCESSFUL entrepreneurs you know. Exactly. It may work for a select few but for the rest of 'em, it's just a lame way to say you're lazy, indecisive and noncommittal. 10/09/10

Today I walked Jack to the door of his pre-school and he stopped me by wrapping his arms all the way around my legs. He said, "I need a biiiig hug!" I happily obliged. Then once I let go he said, "and now I need a biiiiiig kiss!" Go ahead, just say it....awwwww! 09/22/10

A few things I rely on daily starting with important and ending with most important: caffeine, the gym, tylenol PM, my eye/sleep mask, ketchup, and prayer. 09/22/10

Am I the only person who thinks they should just start putting out Halloween decorations year round? I saw bags of Halloween candy at Albertson's at the end of July people! July! Seriously? It's like showing up at the airport the day before your flight. 8/28/10

At the rate at which I want things and imagine buying those things once we have money, I am beginning to think I will bankrupt us within a year. What's mostly sad about this is that I want that much stuff. All the time. Oh materialism, boo. 8/28/10

Violet is at that stage where she can't quite communicate with words so she just yells and whines and points. I try and imagine it like being at the Tower of Bable when stuff went down and then I don't want to smack her as much. 8/28/10

I really love doing some things as organically as possible. I just made jam and if I could have, I would have loved to pick the berries. Probably wouldn't have been as economical and sure I could have just bought a jar of blackberry jam at the grocery store, but sometimes the pleasure of doing something makes the end result 100 times better. 8/28/10

Something I love so very much is when you buy a product and a miniature free product is attached. ie: buy sunscreen and a chapstick is riding piggy back or buy a conditioner and the bottle is pregnant with a travel size conditioner. LOVE! 8/20/10

Why is it that every time I layout I feel like I've been in the sun for 2 hours and it's really only been 20 minutes? When did this activity get so boring? 8/20/10

I am consistently surprised at how large my 3 year old's poops are. They look like they came out of a lumber jack not my baby Jack! 8/20/10
