Picture Free Update

Hey everyone or maybe just one, who knows, I am alive! I am currently residing at my parents house in Texas while we are in transition from Hawaii to Arizona. (Which are two completely different places mind you.) Michael will be joining us here on Thursday night for a two day Bailey Family Reunion. He will then drive our crap the rest of the way and we will fly to meet him in Tucson later. I am soooo glad Chunky and me don't have to do any U-hauling! What a blessing!

So after 120 pounds of luggage and a 12 hour red eye, baby boy and me landed in Dallas. My brother Jon drove us to my parents house and we have been crashing out here ever since. Jack has been living on Jelly Bellies conveniently provided by Grandpa and I have been sleeping late each morning while Grandma does breakfast with baby. What a blessing!!! It has been tons of comfort food and fun mingled with a bit of work. For instance, today I mowed the lawn. It was my first time ever mowing the lawn, any lawn. I know! I was so spoiled growing up, you can say it. Anywho, after mowing half the lawn I realized that the little bar underneath the handle makes the front wheels turn. I had been forcing the da@# thing to move that whole time prior and my legs were getting so tired! What an idiot, right?!

Besides my little lawn mower story I really have nothing exciting. I am sorry for the lack of photos but Michael has the camera. Maybe I will post again with some pics when he gets here but probably not. As my thirteen year old niece Chloe would say (who I find myself suddenly missing like crazy) ttyl! ;)

Things I Know That I Forget

Here is a list of things that I know that I forget often times. It seems like I always forget it when it is most relevant.

1. The fact that when I am nervous to see someone I haven't seen in a while, they are just as nervous as I am.
2. That my husband loves me.
3. That I am a daughter of God.
4. That people can see me picking my nose through the window even though we are in different cars.
5. That it's not ok to burp or fart in public.
6. That your house will always look messy if the dishes aren't done.
7. That all of my possessions can be classified as "stuff".
8. That someday I will be able to comfortably afford said "stuff".
9. That I can do most things, even if I don't do them well, I can still do them.
10. That nobody is perfect.
11. That almost rotten brown bananas make the best banana bread.
12. That I should do my visiting teaching every month.
13. The Fraggle Rock theme song.
14. Lindy Rawle's birthday.
15. The name of the friendly security guard downstairs.
16. How many eggs go in the cornbread recipe.
17. How boring my life was before I had Jack.
18. How miserable I get when I don't do what's right.
19. How good it feels to workout. (I forget this one everyday, right about the time I am supposed to go workout ;b)
20. Michael's social security number.
21. How bad it hurts to have a baby, even with an epidural.
22. That 4 quarters is still a dollar even though individually it is only 25 cents.
23. How to spell the word restaurant.
24. That life will go on.
25. That there are valuable coupons for various stores stashed in my purse.
26. That my Gramma is really gone. (I think this one is a coping mechanism.)
27. That I have done some pretty cool things.
28. That I actually don't like balsamic vinegarette on my salad at all.
29. That Edward and Bella aren't actually real people. :(

Should I?

Here is a series of questions that I currently can't seem to find the answers to on my own. I am going to list them by number and if you have a take on any of them please feel free to chime in with honesty. Remember, honesty is the best policy! Even if you think it might sting. I am actually pretty thick skinned and besides, I am asking for it, so no worries about hurting my feelers!

1. Should I still wear a bikini?
2. Should I get pregnant now or wait a while?
3. Should I get a job when we move to AZ?
4. Should I start dancing again?
5. Should I hire a babysitter so I can train for a marathon?
6. Should I cut my hair like this?

7. Should I cut Jack's hair?
8. Should we buy a house or should we rent for the last three years of residency?
9. Is it bad if I secretly long to be someone else about once a week?

Jack's Birthday Party

First off I just want to say thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to all of the well wishes, love and support we recieved on Jack's Birthday. I am especially grateful to those who were able to come to his party. Even though we had a small turn out :( it really meant alot to me to have friends there to help celebrate Jack. The support of people attending the party was the greatest gift of the day and so I am including quite a few pictures to try and get everyone in. It was also so great to have a family member there a.k.a. Uncle Tony! I know he was probably dying to hit the surf but he stuck it out from set-up to clean-up! We love you Uncle Tony! I know I have way to many pictures in this post but I didn't want to make a slide-show. No one takes the time to look at slide shows anyhow! So if you get sick of scrolling down, I apologize. :)

I know it's blurry but he was so excited to sit in his baby lawn chair for the first time! A special thanks to Carmy Quigs for leaving it for us! :)

The monkey cake! A huge thanks to Kristi for the idea! Way better than a store bought cake!!!

The Chunky's family posing with the cake.

Pissed about the hat and the lei, but very cute. :)
