mister

A baby shower is a joyous occasion but can sometimes be tainted by lame games and tacky decor. Luckily there are inspirations out there that are full of swank and class that I can rip off. ;)

A couple of weekends ago me and the marvelous Addie threw our bestie Lili a baby shower for her soon to come Little Man. It was totally a blast and the mustache bonanza was...well...just that, a bonanza. Fun for all for sure. Here are some super terrible pics of a fabulous time. (Darn you point and shoot, darn you to heck.)

Welcome to mustach-ville. Where the popcorn's always popped....

The mustaches are available for all ages and genders...

Men are honored both big and small...

And balloons float high like Thanksgiving colored balls. What? Balls is not a swear word.

If these pictures weren't so bad you'd see all of the sweet mustache men in the frames. So totally motivational/inspirational for Lili's little Simon.

Can you see the carrot cakes with the mustache suckers? Um yeah. That carrot cake was, holy-freakin'-shiz-carrot-cake courtesy of culinary master Addie. I promise to post the recipe later. Trust me, you want me to keep that promise.

See what I mean? Inspirational.

Who needs tupperware when you've got a stache to keep it for later?

The crew looking quite dapper.

Preparing for the best game ever. What game you ask? Um hello, Pin the Mustache on the Mommy!

The wiener! (Although at this moment it doesn't look like it.)

After some super schwing games we all crammed in the little front room to watch Lil's open her loot.

It was fate.

I feel so happy when I see this picture and see my lovely friend happy. I'm glad we were able to throw this shower and honor the Little Mister.

Inpspirations: 1, 2, 3.

aww such a pretty crew. And what a blast of a party. But, honestly some of them really needed a wax job. You did a fabulous job with the decor.. Loved it.

i'm assuming that is your house because of the clark letters on the bookshelf, but its a really pretty house! I'm a big fan of the mustache as well. :) Jerome gets mad when i draw them. :)

That's so funny, I did a small mustache themed shower for Kass this weekend as well, but it was nothing compared. Just a few table center pieces and some napkin rings :)

BEST. FRIEND. EVER. I'm the luckiest lady in the whole wide world. And I love that in the mustache picture it looks like the mustaches are literally painted on, as if you printed the picture (sans mustaches) and then painted them all on! So hilarious! That was, by far, the best shower I've ever been to. And lucky me - it was mine! I love you, Kat. You're fantastic. Need I say more?

KAT!!!! I cant begin to tell you how sad I am that I missed the party. I cant deny I had a blast spending the day with my family, but it would have been a lot of fun to sit around and talk with some of my favorite ladies. It's been FOREVER since I've seen or talked to you. So sorry I missed it. BTW- good luck with the job in Hawaii. We'll miss having you guys sooo close, but what an awesome opportunity! Hopefully we can catch up before you guys move.
