my boy

I have to take a moment to blog about Jack today. So if you don't like "I'm a mom and it's the best thing ever" posts, go ahead and leave now.

It is true that both Jack and Violet HATE the child care at LA Fitness. It's a bummer and I am crossing my fingers it will get better. (If you want the full lowdown on that situation, call me.) Today when I picked them up Jack was extremely excited to see me. To show his gratitude, he sprung this little number on me.

"I'm so happy, I've got my Mommy, I'm so happy, I've got my Mommy!"
Then a few minutes later he reworked it.
"I'm so happy, I love my Mommy, I'm so happy, I love my Mommy!"
Both were to a tune from Yo Gabba Gabba by the Salteens called I'm so Happy I Can Dance.

Wuv, twu wuv. It feels soooo nice.

Yes! I love coming home from work and Saku gets so so excited to see me. There is nothing better than knowing that your baby loves you!

I agree with Amy.

And 96.4% of my own posts are that kind, so I love it when others do it, too.

Your kids are just adorable. And so are you as a mother!

my 2 1/2 year old has also been saying, "know what mommy? I'm happy." What a great reminder- being happy for a simple reason or no reason at all :)
