double trouble

Today was our double trouble doctors appointment. Meaning both babes recieved shots. Jack only had one but poor Pretty Girl, she got FIVE! I hate when they stack up vaccines like that. I am thinking about asking them to stretch the vaccination schedule. Not because of the whole autsim thing but because I just hate watching my two month old get stuck with five needles right in a row. Yeesh. It was really cute however, when Jack was stroking the baby's head and saying, "Is otay pwetty gull," in an effort to console her. He has started calling her Pretty Girl and himself Punkin'. It's too cute. Anyway, here are a lot of photos. No real special event just one of my periodic camera clean ups. When I say alot of photos, I mean A LOT! I need to figure out how people group them together and stuff. Sorry.

Jack really looks so handsome with his little haircut. SO CUTE! And little baby girl is chubbing up so nicely! What cute kids, Kat. How could they not be with such a beauty for a mother? Anyway, love the bathtub picture where Violet is clearly wondering what the heck all those bubbles are about! Ha! So fun. Cant' wait to see them again!

And the shots - yes, while it's hard to have them do it all at once - would you really like to go in several times and endure that same anxiety more than needed? I hear you on the five in a row, but I think it's overall better because then you just get them over with! Yeesh!

Agh..... I'm dreading the 2 month appointment now. I think I end up crying more than the baby does. It's sooo hard to see my sweet baby crying.
That's such a cute pic of the three of you. Isn't it crazy that you have two kids now. I always think that when I see pics of me and all my kids. When did this all happen? I got married and then all the sudden we are a family of five. Yikes!

she is so pretty! jack is getting so big too! and I stretched adalie's vaccines too, not really cuz of the autism but just to be safe. it just sounds wrong to give them that many at once, it just can't be good for them u know?

I hate shots too! Logan just got his 4 month round last week and I felt soo bad. Surprisingly though he calmed down really quickly because I put his pacifier in his mouth while they were giving them. Maybe it gave him something to bite down on and that distracted him? Anyway, I love all the pictures but especially the nudey shot on the tricycle. I think I may copy you and get Jackson a bike for his 2nd birthday. I think he would totally love it. BTW I've been in the gym before 5am every weekday for the past two weeks, you have inspired me to shed my last, most difficult, 8 lbs.! Hooray for summer vacation

He's done getting shots now though right? Last time we took Lucy they said she was done until she's like 4 or 5. What a relief, she has never took pain well! Nola on the other hand is a champ and just screams for a second before she gets over it. Our double doc appt. was last time, today it was just me and Nola. Poor girl! How big is Violet now? They are both looking great!!
