Hey friends. I need your opinions. I bought these jeans yesterday and they look smashing. I love them and their fancy "leatherette" black wash. I was certain that even though they are a bit snaz I could still wear them casually with v neck t-shirts and such but someone (cough* cough* Josie) said otherwise. It was my understanding that they would go both ways, you know AC/DC style? Like wear them with a t-shirt and flats to make the everyday casual into a bit more or wear them with some ankle boots and a sassy top and watch them semi sparkle. What do you think? Kosher with a totally casual t or no? If they are only good for the dress up side of this argument I will return them seeing as how I never, like NEVER, get dressed up for anything but church. And since you probably shouldn't wear black leathery pants to church...well you get the idea. So, what say ye? Return and exchange for plain old black skinnies or keep?

Keep them! They will look really cute with embellished flats or something. I wish I could pull these off! Grrr, curse my large hips.
I think they would look cute dressed down too...of course it would be MOST helpful if you would try them on for us and show us a whole dressed-down outfit so we could see it all together. :)
Totally you can wear them with tees, I would! Maybe not with flip flops so much--they're asking for a better shoe than that--but definitely a tee and some chunky jewelery and flats.
Keep! Josie just got home from a mission so what does she know? Hehe, don't tell her I said that! I guess she has been home for a while and has a really cute style, better than me, but I still say KEEP. But then I am all about wearing whatever I want and not giving a hoot.
LOVE them. and i guarandamntee that if anyone can pull them off. it's you! stick on a jcrew loose white v neck and toms....you've got yourself a hit.

Those are super cool! I agree with Ash throw the rules out the window. If you feel good in what your wearing thats all that matters I think. PS I so wished you lived in Utah too so I could practice on you at the spa :)

Keep Them! I just saw a picture of Olivia Palermo and she was wearing the exact same pants and was just thinking how cute they were~ although she is dressed up I think you can totally dress it down and look cute~ ^ ^

I just bought some leather leggings in hopes to wear them casual too. I like the look!! If you feel good in them WHO CARES nothing else matters!
I just bought a pair of pants like those today! I totally agree with wearing them casual and dressed up (cause I'm like you and never dress up). And to make you feel better, that is what the girl at Nordstrom said too.
