A Brief Overview

Here is a smattering of photos and videos from the last month and a half. They are in no particular order so please view at your own leisure and convenience.

On another note, I might have some really exciting news tomorrow so stay tuned! ;)
And on one more side note...who else is so freakin' stoked for Breaking Dawn?!?!?! I can't hardly wait! Yipee!

Naked, greasy baby!!! Woohoo!

Jack enjoying marshmallows on the new counter top. What a sweetie pie!

My Dad and I during target practice at the Bailey Family Reunion. He is amazing with a sling shot! And I'm not too bad myself!

This is my last day surfing in Waikiki. Sniff sniff... :(

Here is a picture of Jack and I in front of the glorious U-haul that took us from East Texas to hell, I mean Tucson.

So this video is what happens when your one year old gets ahold of a giant ziploc bag full of a billion M&M's! BTW sorry about my obnoxious cheering! I really need to stop doing that!

A Whale's Vagina

That's right folks! We hit up San Diego for a couple days over the weekend and it was sheer bliss. The biggest reason it was won-won-wonderful was because I was with family. It felt like a warm loving blanket around my shoulders and I was so sad when we had to leave. It all went by too fast.

It was basically uneventful but we did get to go to the beach on both Saturday and Sunday (judge if you will but being judgemental will send you to hell just as quickly as going to the beach on Sunday :b). My sister-in-law Jenn is so awesome and fun and she always knows how to make me feel right at home. Her house felt more like home than my own apartment does at the moment. It was such a pleasure, thanks Jenny Flower!

The best part of the trip was the combo bath including Jack, cousin Leah (aka Jack's loving and helpful second Mommy) and darling Ezra (aka EZ rider). At one point there was some position changing and The Chunky bumped his head resulting in a few tears. You had better believe that both of his cousins were right there to give him full frontal and backal hugs. It was precious and sweet and I loved it.

I have figured out the one good thing about Tucson...being so close to the whale's vagina. Or for those of you non-RonBurgundy savvys, San Diego.

In the water...

I don't know if you have noticed this but I think that everyone and their dog must be pregnant right now! I bet if we all planned an exact time to sing "if you're pregnant and you know it clap your hands" we would hear a very loud and clear clap from around the blogging world. Seriously it would echo across all the land. What is the deal and why haven't I been dealt? No just kidding, not yet, I am just jonesing to be part of the cool pregnant crowd.

p.s. We can't find the charger or the chord to plug the camera into the computer. I don't think I should post anymore because they are so boring without pictures!

My Boys

So my obvious summer television obsession is So You Think You Can Dance but besides that I am absolutely in love with My Boys. It is an original series from TBS that airs on Thursday nights at 9:30/8:30 central. And if this sounds like a plug...it is because honestly it is soooo good. I just love the way it is written the humor is spot on and the cast has such great chemistry and comedic timing. See what you think here. Hope you like it!

Procrastination

I have been seriously procrastinating writing this post for a while now and I will tell you why. Basically there has been so much going on that I don't know what to say exactly. I could probably write and write in detail for days but since that would be possibly the most boring thing in the world I will keep it short. Or as short as you know I possibly can. :)

The reunion with my family was a blast, I mean blast in 3 different ways.
1. My butt has blasted out into the open space and is about to receive its own orbiting moon. Thanks to Mamma Gaye for all of the delicious treats that caused the eruption.
2. After a few explosive family "love" sessions, we all worked through our differences and decided to just chill out.
3. The time at my parents house blasted by too quickly and I was apartment shopping in smelly Tucson before I could blink.

The apartment hunt was a success and by success I mean it was:
1. Nearly successful in rendering me a divorced single mother (ok exaggeration but we fought like Kats and Dogs!)
2. A total success because we are finally moved in to a nice, expensive, spacious condo only 3.5 miles from the hospital.
3. And my favorite list worthy success. The apartment is so large that we ended up needing new furniture to fill it. Let's just say platinum visa card + ikea = husband with a stomach ache from the bill and back ache from the heavy lifting.

There are a few memorable moments that we have experienced since being here.
1. There wasn't enough room in our truck to fit the rocking chair so we left it for three days just chillin' outside the Holiday Inn Express.
2. We left aforementioned platinum visa credit card at aforementioned ikea and now have to make another trip to pick it up much to Michael's frustration and my elation!!!
3. Aunt Flo was late this month. Two weeks late to be exact! And as I gradually became more and more sure I was pregnant she finally graced us with her presence! What a relief/disappointment.

Other than all of this I don't have much else to say. If any of you personally want all of the gory details of the last 3 or so weeks then let me know and I will email you a novel. Otherwise just be glad I kept it as short as it is. Now I can get back to good ole blogging as it should be. Hooray! Maybe tomorrow I'll post Daddy and Chunky on the slip-n-slide. It was a blast!
